Bible Study – The Kingdom of God

Scripture Reading:

Luke 1:31-33 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Summary:

The Kingdom of God is not an earthly kingdom that will be established in the future but is a spiritual kingdom that is founded in our hearts through Jesus Christ.

IV. Entrance Into the Kingdom

VI. Proof the Kingdom is Already Set Up

A. Hebrews 12:28 We received a kingdom.
B. Colossians 1:12-13 He has translated us in the kingdom.
C. Revelation 1:9 John was in the kingdom.

VII. Duration of the Kingdom

A. Isaiah 9:6-7 Established forever.
B. Daniel 2:44 Never be destroyed.

Challenge

Luke 12:31-32 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
